Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Manasity (“Manasity”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit manasity.com, create an account, or use our platform and the academy websites built with it (together, the “Service”).

If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].

1. Who we are

Manasity is a software company based in Egypt. We provide a platform that teachers and education centers use to run their own websites, students, classes and teams.

2. Our role for teachers and their students

When a teacher or education center (a “Customer”) uses Manasity, the Customer decides what information to collect about their students, parents and website visitors, and why. The Customer is responsible for that information, and Manasity processes it on the Customer’s behalf as a service provider.

If you are a student or a parent, please contact the teacher or center directly with questions or requests about your information. We will help them respond.

3. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password. We store passwords only as a one-way hash, so we never see them.
  • Organization information: your academy’s name, web address and branding, and your team members and their roles.
  • Content you add: your website’s pages and text, images and videos, courses, groups, schedules and anything else you put into the Service.
  • Student information, added by a Customer or by students on a Customer’s website: for example a student’s name, phone numbers (including a parent’s), grade, group, attendance, and a login for that Customer’s website.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, such as your name, contact details and message.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device type, sign-in sessions, and a log of important actions (such as sign-ins and changes to settings) that we use to keep accounts secure.
  • Website insights on academy websites: pages viewed, time on page, how far visitors scroll, clicks on page elements, how visitors arrived (for example from search or social media) and device type.

Website insights are counted without cookies by default, using an identifier made from a secret that changes every day, cannot be reversed and is deleted after two days. Visitors’ IP addresses are not stored with these events. Detailed events are kept for 30 days; after that only daily totals remain.

4. Cookies

On manasity.com we use only essential cookies. They keep you signed in securely (scripts in your browser cannot read them) and may remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

An academy website may ask its visitors for permission to set one first-party cookie that recognizes returning visitors in its insights. Visitors can decline, and declining changes nothing about how the website works.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Service, including your account and your website.
  • To send service messages, such as verification codes, password-reset links and important notices. These are not marketing.
  • To answer your messages and give support.
  • To protect the Service: preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing limits and investigating security issues.
  • To understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

If we send marketing emails, we will do so only where the law allows, and every one will include a way to unsubscribe.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers: companies that host our servers and databases, store files, deliver content and send email for us (for example, Resend delivers our emails). They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Customers: a student’s information is available to the teacher or center whose website the student uses, and to the team members they authorize.
  • Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and security.
  • Business changes: if Manasity is part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
  • With your permission.

7. How long we keep information

We keep account and organization information while the account is active. When an account is deleted, we delete its information or make it anonymous within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it or we need it to resolve a dispute. Security logs are kept as long as needed to protect the Service. Detailed website-insights events are deleted after 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, short-lived sign-in tokens and access controls based on roles. No method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

9. Children’s privacy

Manasity is built for teachers and education centers, not for children to sign up on their own. Students, including minors, use an academy website only through a Customer.

A Customer who adds students under 13 (or the age set by the law of their country) is responsible for getting verifiable parental consent where the law requires it, including under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe we have information about a child under 13 collected without the required consent, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be treated differently for using these rights.

Residents of California (under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and of other U.S. states with privacy laws, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, have these rights under their state’s law. To use them, email [email protected]. We will verify your request, usually by confirming it from your account’s email address, and answer within the time the law sets. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that they are authorized. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

You can change your name and password in your account settings at any time.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: because we do not sell or share personal information or track visitors across websites, there is nothing to opt out of, and we respect these signals by default.

11. International transfers

Manasity operates from Egypt and uses service providers in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. We take steps so that it stays protected as this policy describes.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or in the Service before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
